Recent appointments made within South Africa’s motor industry

Hiroaki Sugawara has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Isuzu Truck South Africa, replacing Hiroshi Nishizaka who has relocated to Australia.

Hyundai Motor Company has appointed Mike Song as the new head of its Africa and Middle East Region. He replaces James Kim, who has returned to Korea in a senior management position.

Robert Bosch South Africa has announced that Workshops Concept Manager Lilian Hansen has been appointed Corporate Communications Manager for Bosch Africa.

MAN Truck & Bus South Africa has announced the appointment of Markus Geyer, an erstwhile chairman of the company, as its new managing director.

Bridgestone has announced the appointment of Paulo Ferrari as its new President and Chief Executive Officer for the Europe, Middle East & Africa regions. He will join the company on September 19.
