MasterDrive has always been proud of the excellence of their training. Now this has been validated by ‘Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government and Titans: Building Nations,’ recognition of leaders by CEO Global. The MD of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, was name a regional winner in the Titans Building Nations SADC South section.

The awards honour excellence in the private and public sector and those leaders at the pinnacle of their industry. According to the Chief Executive of CEO Global, Annelize Wepener, nominees undergo a vigorous multi-tiered judging process. “The highest possible standard is maintained. Winners in their field can be assured they have truly excelled.”
Wepener says the awards illustrate the wealth of innovative and progressive leadership talent Africa has to offer. “There are tremendously inspirational stories at core of each winner’s professional and personal life story. I am really very privileged to interact with these individuals. They deserve the admiration and respect they are afforded.”

Herbert now automatically qualifies for the Continental Awards ceremony where the continent’s leading man and woman in the 25 economic sectors is selected from the regional winners. This ceremony will take place in October 2016.

“Recognition for excellence in one’s field is appreciated. What is more important, though, is the fact that the people in our organisation contributed in no small way to being able to lead effectively,” says Herbert.
